If you have ever wondered how to set up a reliable camp in the woods or
would love to feel genuinely ‘at home’ in the wilder places around us.
If you’d like to feel more confident about what to put in that daypack or want
to explore those fundamental outdoor skills that you feel you ‘really ought to
know’, well then, this day is for you.

Delve into essential campcraft
skills around the core subjects of bushcraft and survival, using the latest
modern kit and techniques:

• Building, lighting, and using fire.

• Locating, gathering, and treating water.

• Siting and building effective shelters.

• Sourcing and providing food.

• Informed modern equipment choice and use.

• And of course, how to deal with an emergency.

The day will run from 0900 to 1700 to give us plenty of time and the group will
be no larger than 8 people to ensure you get my full attention.

We will be in the woods all day regardless of the weather so bring your favourite
packed lunch (full details of what to bring are provided at booking).

Suitable for adults only.

Due to the nature of this course, we do not feel this event is suitable for those
under 18 years of age.
